Everyone is welcome
Inclusivity matters to us. Every family in our community is welcome, and we adapt our care to each child's needs.
Daisy Chains Nursery provides care and early education for children aged 2 to 5 in Ashford. We're a friendly, family-feel setting where children are known as individuals and where a great deal of learning happens outdoors and through play.

You are your child's first and most important educator. We share what we see each day and invite you into the learning.
Our outdoor area is part of daily life, not a treat: fresh air, mud, growing things and plenty of room to run.
A qualified, experienced team working to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, with care and safeguarding at its heart.
A nursery is shaped by the people in it. Our team brings together experience, warmth and a genuine interest in every child's individual journey, creating a setting where children can feel secure, understood and ready to explore.

Different roles and different experience come together around the same goal: giving children consistent care, meaningful relationships and the confidence to enjoy everything nursery has to offer.
Each child is assigned a key person who takes responsibility for getting to know their interests, routines and needs, while also building a close relationship with you.
Our buddy system means that if your child's key person is away, someone who already knows them well steps in, helping provide familiarity and continuity throughout their time at nursery.
We use eyLog, a secure digital learning journal, to help keep you connected with your child's time at nursery.
You'll receive occasional reports and updates sharing your child's experiences, development and progress. We also arrange parent meetings from time to time so there is space to talk through progress, next steps and anything you would like to discuss.
These updates and conversations help keep nursery and home connected, with your child's learning and wellbeing at the centre of the partnership.
Children bring a packed lunch from home, and we provide snacks during the nursery day. Snack and mealtime routines are treated as meaningful parts of children's everyday learning.
In conjunction with our curriculum, children are encouraged to help prepare snacks and food, take responsibility for their own dishes and wash up using a washing-up bowl and drying rack. These simple routines help build practical skills, confidence and independence.
We provide interesting experiences suited to each child's age and stage, then follow their curiosity and help them take the next step.
Children investigate, experiment and make choices through purposeful play indoors and outside.
Familiar adults, consistent routines and carefully organised spaces help children feel safe enough to try new things.
Everyday routines such as dressing, serving food and caring for belongings build confidence and responsibility.
